finally!

So, today, I finally played for Stephen McIntyre!!!!! Woot!
I've been dying to since last year!

I'm sure I've explained the oh-so-many two degrees of separation, and I finally got to play for him, in the flesh (well, I guess that is the definition of playing for somebody...). I masterclass-ed Ravel's 'Ondine' from Gaspard de la Nuit and he had good comments: encouraging words, tips for practice, constructive feedback. That's definitely a few hallmarks of a good teacher. He's amazing...he's everything I could wish for in a masterclass. And he was very nice too.
And I managed to step into it, when I told him that I'd been dying to play for him. Haha. I even sent regards from my previous teacher from Perth!
