Singin' in the Rain!

Wow, last week was absolutely amazing!!!
Gala night was an AWESOME performance!!! And the crowd was sooo good!!! They loved it - laughing at all the jokes, even before the alcohol at intermission! Haha :)
Saturday matinee went quite well, even Paul said "That show was close to perfect." And closing night, wow. The jokes flowed...from the opening of the overture beginning with the theme of 20th Century Fox, to the ba-dum ching! of the drums at a really bad joke, to the Spanish Flea Song during Goldie's movie, and the French Gavotte at the "It's a period picture! We need gavottes and minuets!". Sigh. It was good :)
Bump-out was tiring, although combined efforts were productive - I found myself not doing as much as I thought...

Thank you so much Gina, Gowri n Mags for the flowers :D They are BEAUTIFUL!! And yes, I do love getting flowers...because it's rare :) But oh-so-nice! They are proudly in a cup in my room (Yeah, we at Queen's don't get flowers, so nobody has a vase..) and walking back to college with them after sat night was greeted with "Woah! That's a large bunch of flowers!" haha :P

Cast and crew afterparty was awesome. It was held at Bridie O'Rielly's on Sydney Rd, Brunswick, thanks to the work of duncs, who had arranged it all :) It was cool to get VIP treatment and form our own line, bypassing the already long line waiting to get into the pub, as well as basically having one entire bar to ourselves! (The place has two...) It's nice to have bonded at least in a small way, with different people from college....there definately is a thing, even if it's little :) You come out of these large ventures together :)

So, the photos from Singin' in the Rain are below...enjoy :) I hope those of you who came to see it enjoyed it very much; those of you who were in it, I hope you had an AWESOME time...coz I know I did! :) And we will have many fond memories :) For those of you who missed it (due to a variety of reasons), I do wish you had been there, because it was an awesome show :) You missed out big time :P But I hopefully will get a recording of it, just to show you how aweosme it was!

So, what am I doing at this late hour? Answer: eating soup and attempting to work on a QM assignment. The soup is very hot, and the progress on my assignment is getting there, although the question is not very clear....oh wait, that's right. There is no specific question on the assignment!!!! argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. ben, i know you're not a tenor. You are Dairy milk!!! Haha :P But you can't deny you played the part of the Production Tenor, even though transposition skills do come in handy, believe it or not! :P
